AFFÛTEUR DE PATINS CASE AVEC SH6000

If you are considering getting a skate sharpener, take this into consideration.
I purchased another brand of sharpener a few years ago and have been sharpening skates for my son’s hockey team while we are on the road (one weekend a month, sometimes two).
I wasn’t 100% sold on the automatic sharpener and decided to make the switch to a more precise sharpener (BladeMaster). I did enjoy the convenience of the other sharpener; check to make sure it is aligned, clamp the skate in and push the go button. What I don’t like is that after repeated sharpenings, the blade develops a trail-off point at each end of the blade which becomes more prominent with more sharpenings.
When I bought that unit I was into it for about $2000 with all the stuff I thought I needed. I did look at BladeMaster at that time and dismissed it because of the price difference. But!, I could have bought the BladeMaster for basically the same price.
If you are having a hard time make the decision and it is over the price, what you spend now you will save later when it comes to skate sharpeners.
Right out of the box this sharpener expresses quality. A few online tips and tutorials and I was on my way. Love the machine, love the accuracy, and it is easier than I anticipated.
My next adventure is going to be profiling, but that is a whole other machine and review; but the kid is only nine so I have a bit of time, LOL.
